Hi, I’m Pat and I split my week between carrying out research in international development and as a freelance communications advisor for charities.

This means identifying ideas … and carving out spaces for people to share these with others

Which is why I’m so delighted to be on the TEDxFolkestone Outreach team.

I’m convinced there are many people in the Folkestone area (and beyond…) who have great ideas, but until now, may not have had an outlet for these. So that’s why I became involved: to work with others to provide a platform so we can hear their voices too.
