Design the Mascot for TEDxFolkestone 2021 and Win Free Tickets to the Event
If you love to draw, paint, design or create – we have an exciting competition for you to enter.
Our 2021 event is fast approaching with its theme of A New Horizon.
It’s time for us to find a new mascot, featuring our favourite seagull, and we want your help.
We’d love you to design it for us.
And that’s why we’ve set up this special competition for anyone aged 11 to 18 who wants to give it a go.
The Prize is Pretty Special, too…
The winner will see their fantastic design used on ALL of our TEDxFolkestone event promotional materials. PLUS, the winner will receive FREE tickets to the 2021 event and behind-the-scenes activities.
Here’s What We Want YOU to Do
We want you to:
- Design your mascot so it is A4-sized
- Be inspired by our 2021 theme of ‘A New Horizon’
- Make use of the existing TEDxFolkestone logo and colours
- Remember to include a seagull in your design – be as creative as you like
- Get your entry in to us by the 30th November deadline
The designs sent in will be judged by a TEDxFolkestone panel which includes guest judge and local artist, Shane Record.
How to Enter
Step 1: Create your design to meet the guidelines – you can draw, paint, design and be as imaginative as you like.
Step 2: Email digital files or photos of your design to community@165.232.32.218 by the closing date, midnight on Monday 30th November 2020.
Step 3: Keep an eye out for news of the competition result – will YOU be the winner?
