We imagine a world where people can maximise their holidays, spending less time researching and organising, giving them more time for the exciting stuff like planning, anticipating and counting down to their trip.
Based in Hythe, Kent, we are one of the UK’s most innovative travel-tech companies. As the UK market leader in travel extras, once our 8 million customers have booked their flights and accommodation, we take care of the rest.
Airport hotels, airport parking, airport lounges, airports by rail and coach, destination car hire and holiday insurance are some of our core offerings. Our Shortbreaks business also works with the UK’s biggest theme parks, attractions and West-End shows to help our customers ‘make their free time count’.
People and technology are at the heart of everything we do and our awesome team of over 1,000 people work hard to give our customers the best holiday experience.

A wonderfully regenerated building that sits within the heart of the Creative Quarter in Folkestone, The Workshop is a vibrant business centre that offers workspace for freelancers, startups and growing businesses. With meeting rooms, hot desks, fast internet speed and flexible contracts, it’s the perfect setting for a modern business and employees.
The Workshop has been integral in making TEDxFolkestone happen as it was the place where all the core TEDxFolkestone team originally met and decided to put on a TEDx event within Folkestone. The Workshop continues to provide the team with a place to meet, share ideas and have fun as we work together in making TEDxFolkestone 2019 the best event yet!

As part of our commitment to the local community and sharing new ideas, we have partnered with L.E.A.F, which is Folkestone’s Local Ethical Affordable Food initiative.

This means that at this year’s TEDxFolkestone event, in addition to having delicious, nourishing food, you will also be able to engage with local food producers to understand where your food has come from and how it has been made.
To get involved come to the Quarterhouse, Folkestone every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm to meet the producers, sample and purchase their produce.
